The UFC Fight Night 34 bonuses went to Tarec Saffiedine, Hyun Gyu Lim, Max Holloway, and Russell Doane.
The bonuses were announced by the Managing Director of UFC Asia Mark Fischer at the post fight press conference and each fighter will receive a bonus of $50,000.
Saffiedine and Lim were awarded the fight of the night bonus for their five round welterweight battle. Saffiedine won the fight by unanimous decision, due mostly to the leg kicks he landed to the left leg of Lim.
Lim nearly came back with a come from behind victory in the final moments of the fight as he landed a flurry of punches that rocked Saffiedine. However, he ran out of time and Saffiedine got the win on the scorecards. This is the second straight fight of the night bonus for Lim and he is now 2-1 in the UFC.
The knockout of the night and submission of the night bonuses went to fighters on the preliminary card as Holloway won the knockout of the night for his second round victory over Will Chope. This is the first time that Holloway has won a fight night bonus in his seven UFC fights and the victory snapped a two fight losing streak.
Doane won the submission of the night for his second round triangle choke victory over Leandro Issa in the opening bout of the card. Doane was making his UFC debut in the bout and five of his thirteen career wins have come by submission.
