A women’s bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC on FOX 11 on April 19th Orlando as Amanda Nunes will meet UFC newcomer Alexis Dufresne.
Nunes previosuly announced the fight on Instragram recently and the UFC made the fight booking official on Tuesday.
UFC on FOX 11 will come from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on April 19th and will be headlined by a heavyweight title eliminator fight as Fabricio Werdum meets Travis Browne.
Nunes (9-3) has won both of her fights in the UFC and has won three of her last four. She is currently the #8 UFC women’s bantamweight title contender and both of her wins in the UFC have come by TKO in the first round.
Dufresne (5-0) turned professional in 2012 and all of her wins have come in the first round. Her most recent victory came last month as she stopped Kim Couture by punches in 45 seconds and it was her second career win to come in under sixty seconds.
