UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will make her next title defense on July 5th in Las Vegas as she will be challenged by Alexis Davis.
The fight booking was announced by UFC President Dana White on Twitter.
UFC 175 will come from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on July 5th and is scheduled to be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida.
Rousey (9-0) has successfully defended the UFC title three times and is coming off a first round TKO victory against Sara McMann at UFC 170. Her win over McMann was her first career victory to come by TKO and this will mark her third straight fight in Las Vegas.
Davis (16-5) is currently on a five fight winning streak and has won eight of her last nine fights. Since entering the UFC last year, she was gone 3-0 and all three of those wins have come by decision.
