The Bellator Fighting Championships will return to Canada next Friday night for Bellator 76 and will be headlined by former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez taking on former lightweight tournament finalist Patricky Pitbull.
This is the last fight on the Bellator contract of Alvarez and is likely the last time that he will step into the Bellator cage.
The former Bellator champion was excited when he found out that he would be taking on Pitbull and is looking forward to this challenge.
“After hearing Bellator wanted to put this fight together, I really don’t think they could have made a better matchup for the fans to enjoy,” Alvarez said. “Pitbull has proven to be a legitimate threat in the past and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
The rest of the main card, which will be televised on MTV2 and in commercial free high definition on EPIX2 will have the quarterfinals of the season seven featherweight tournament.
