Doo Ho Choi has pulled out of his fight against Sam Sicilia at UFC 173 on May 24th in Las Vegas and Sicilia will now meet UFC newcomer Aaron Phillips.
The fight change was recently announced by the UFC.
UFC 173 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 24th and will be headlined by Renan Barao defending the bantamweight title against T.J. Dillashaw.
Phillips (8-0) turned professional in 2011 and three of his victories have come in the first round. His most recent win came in February as he defeated Tyler Shinn by unanimous decision.
Sicilia (12-4) has lost three of his last four fights and he is coming off a submission defeat against Cole Miller at UFC Fight Night 35. His only win in his last four fights came at UFC Fight Night 32 against Godofredo Pepey as he won by TKO in the first round.
