Junior dos Santos pulled out of his TUF Brazil 3 Finale main event fight against Stipe Miocic with a broken hand and Miocic will now meet Fabio Maldonado.
The new fight booking was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale will take place on May 31st at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil and the main card will air on Fox Sports 1.
Maldonado (21-6) is moving up to the heavyweight division for this fight and he is currently on a three fight winning streak. His most recent win came in March at UFC Fight Night 38 as he earned a decision victory over Gian Villante.
Miocic (11-1) has won back to back fights and five of his six fights in the UFC. He is coming off a decision victory over Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC on FOX 10 in January, and his last two wins have come by decision.
