Another Resurrection Fighting Alliance fighter has been signed by the UFC as Brian Ortega will make his debut with the promotion at UFC on FOX 12 against Mike De La Torre. 
The fight announcement was announced by the UFC on late Wednesday evening.
UFC on FOX 12 will come from the SAP Center in San Jose on July 26th and will be headlined by a number one contender bout in the welterweight division as former title challenger Robbie Lawler meets Matt Brown.
Ortega (8-0) had two fights in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and he won the featherweight title in his last fight as he defeated Keoni Koch by split decision. During his career, four of his wins have come by submission, while his other four wins have come by decision.
De La Torre (12-4) was signed by the UFC earlier this year and lost his UFC debut against Mark Bocek at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale. The defeat snapped a three fight winning streak and eleven of his twelve wins have come by stoppage.
