RFA 16 official for July 25th in Colorado and will be headlined by vacant heavyweight title bout

The next Resurrection Fighting Alliance card will take place on July 25th in Denver and the fight card will be headlined by a vacant heavyweight title bout as Josh Copeland meets Jan Jorgensen in a matchup of undefeated fighters.RFA16

RFA 16 was officially announced by RFA President Ed Soares on late Thursday evening and the event will come from 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

In addition to the title fight in the main event, the co-main event will be a number one contenders bout in the bantamweight division as Joe Murphy makes his RFA debut against Jarred Mercado.

“I’m excited to announce that the RFA will be crowning its first heavyweight champion at RFA 16,” stated Soares. “Josh Copeland and Jan Jorgensen are both very talented fighters from the Rocky Mountains that have never lost. On July 25th, they will give the RFA its first heavyweight champion and our fans in Denver a title fight they will always remember.”

The main card will be shown live on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and tickets for the event are now available through Altitude Tickets or fans can support their favorite fighter by purchasing tickets through Cage Tix.
