A lightweight bout has been added to the UFC 176 preliminary card on August 2nd in Los Angeles as Beneil Dariush meets Tony Martin.
The fight booking was recently announced by the UFC.
UFC 176 will come from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and will be headlined by a title rematch as Jose Aldo defends the featherweight title against Chad Mendes.
Dariush (7-1) made his UFC debut at the beginning of the year and he submitted Charlie Brenneman at UFC Fight Night 35. He returned three months later and suffered his first career defeat as he stopped in the first round by Ramsey Nijem.
Martin (8-1) open his career with eight straight victories and six of those victories came by submission. His UFC debut would come against Rashid Magomedov at UFC 169 in February and was defeated by decision.
