UFC flyweight Louis Gaudinot tested positive for a banned substance following his UFC Fight Night 37 bout against Phil Harris and he has been suspended six months by the UFC.
The positive drug test release was initially announced by Harris on Twitter and he stated that the result has been changed to a no-contest.
Following the tweet from Harris, John Morgan of MMAJunkie.com reported that Gaudinot tested positive for a diuretic and did not receive a fine for the drug test.
The suspension was handed down by the UFC since they were acting as the regulatory body since the event was held in the United Kingdom.
Gaudinot defeated Harris at UFC Fight Night 37 by submission in the first round and Harris was let go by the organization. Following his release, Harris was signed by Cage Warriors but he was brought back by the UFC recently and will return at UFC Fight Night 46 against Neil Seery.
At this time, the UFC has not issued a statement on the positive drug test of Gaudinot.
