Thiago Tavares will make is UFC featherweight debut in August as he will meet Robbie Peralta at UFC Fight Night 47 in Bangor, Maine. 
The fight booking was announced by UFC officials on Friday evening.
UFC Fight Night 47 will come from the Cross Insurance Center on August 16th and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Ryan Bader meets Ovince St. Preux.
Tavares (18-5-1) was scheduled to make his UFC featherweight debut earlier this year, but he has pulled out of fights at UFC Fight Night 36 and UFC Fight Night 41. When he steps into the cage in August, he will be looking for his second straight win and three of his UFC have come by submission.
Peralta (18-4, 1NC) has won back to back fights in the UFC and his last victory came last month at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale as he won a decision against Rony Jason. The win over Jason was his fourth win in the UFC and two of his last three wins have come by knockout.
