Following the withdrawl of Bryan Barberena from UFC Fight Night 44, Joe Ellenberger will now make his UFC debut against James Moontasri on the June 28th card in San Antonio. 
The new fight booking was recently announced by UFC officials.
UFC Fight Night 44 will come from the AT&T Center and will be headlined by Cub Swanson meeting Jeremy Stephens in a scheduled five round featherweight bout.
Moontasri (7-1) is the latest fighter to come to the UFC from Resurrection Fighting Alliance. He is currently on a three fight winning streak and five of his seven wins have come by stoppage.
This is the sixth opponent schedule for Ellenberger (14-1) to make his UFC debut against as he had been previously scheduled to meet Yancy Medeiros, Vagner Rocha, Frank Trevino, Johnny Case, and Barberena. Ellenberger is currently on a two fight winning streak and twelve of his victories have come by TKO/KO or submission.
