The UFC Fight Night 44 Weigh-Ins took place today in San Antonio, Texas and the fight card is now official with eleven fights. 
Tonight’s weigh-ins will come from the AT&T Center and the same venue will host tomorrow night’s fight card.
The event will be headlined by a key featherweight bout as Cub Swanson (145 lbs) will look for his sixth straight victory as he meets Jeremy Stephens (170 lbs). It has been speculated that the winner of this fight will receive a title shot, but that would appear more likely for Swanson and not Stephens.
The only fighter on the card to miss weight was co-main event participant Kelvin Gastelum. He initially weighed in at 173 pounds and was given an additional two hours to make weight. On his second attempt to make weight, he came in at 172.75 pounds and he will be fined 20 percent of his purse for missing weight. His fight with Nico Musoke will go forward as a catchweight bout and Gastelum is only the third UFC fighter in 2014 to miss weight.
