The medical suspensions for The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale have been released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and eleven fighters on the card were given a suspension.
The commission released the medical suspensions on Monday and the suspensions were forwarded to TheMMAReport.com after they were requested.
The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale took place on Sunday evening from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and was headlined by Frankie Edgar defeating BJ Penn by stoppage in the third round.
The complete Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale medical suspensions are below:
- BJ Penn: Suspended until 09/05/14 and no contact until 08/21/14 (left eye laceration)
- Matt Van Buren: Must have right orbital fracture cleared by an ophthalmologist or no contact until 01/03/15; minimum suspension no contest until 08/21/14, no contact until 08/06/14
- Eddie Gordon: Must have left shoulder cleared by a Doctor or no contest until 01/03/15
- Dhiego Lima: Suspended until 08/21/14 and no contact until 08/06/14
- Justin Scoggins: Suspended until 08/06/14 and no contact until 07/28/14
- Guto Inocente: Suspended until 08/21/14 and o contact until 08/06/14 (facial lacerations)
- Jesse Ronson: Suspended until 08/06/14 and no contact until 07/28/14
- Jumabieke Tuerxun: Suspended until 08/06/14 and no contact until 07/28/14
- Juan Manuel Puig: Suspended until 08/21/14 and no contact until 08/06/14
- Patrick Walsh: Suspended until 08/06/14 and no contact until 07/28/14 (scalp laceration)
- Keith Berish: Must have left knee injury cleared by orthopedic Doctor or no contest until 01/03/15
