Ernest Chavez has pulled out of his UFC Fight Night 49 bout with an injury and replacing him against Mirsad Bektic will be Max Holloway.
UFC officials recently announced the fight change.
UFC Fight Night 49 will come from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 23rd and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as former champion Benson Henderson meets Rafael dos Anjos.
Holloway (9-3) has won back to back fights after dropping two in a row last year. His most recent win came in April as he submitted Andre Fili in the third round at UFC 172.
Bektic (8-0) also made his UFC debut earlier this year as he defeated Chas Skelly by majority decision at UFC on FOX 11. Before making his UFC debut, he had only been to the decision once in his career and four of his stoppage wins came by TKO/KO.
