A lightweight bout has been added to UFC 177 on August 30th as Carlos Diego Ferreira will meet Ultimate Fighter alum Ramsey Nijem on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Sunday.
UFC 177 will come from the Sleep Train Arena on August 30th and will be headlined by TJ Dillashaw defending the bantamweight title against Renan Barao.
Ferreira (10-0) made his UFC debut last month as he defeated Ultimate Fighter 16 winner Colton Smith by rear-naked choke submission in the first round. It was his sixth career win by submission and it was his third career victory by rear-naked choke.
Nijem (9-4) has won back to back fights and is 5-3 in the UFC. His most recent win came in April at UFC Fight Night 40 as he defeated Beneil Dariush by TKI in the first round.
