Olympic Gold Medalist Henry Cejudo has been signed by the UFC to a multi-fight deal and he will make his UFC debut next month against Scott Jorgensen at UFC 177.
The signing and fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday evening.
UFC 177 will come from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California and will be headlined by TJ Dillashaw defending the UFC bantamweight title against former champion Renan Barao.
Cejudo (6-0) was scheduled to headline Legacy 34 next month, but was recently pulled from the event. He opened his career with fourth straight first round stoppage wins and his last two wins have come by decision.
Jorgensen (15-9) snapped a three fight losing streak last month as he defeated Danny Martinez by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 42. It was his first victory since the end of 2012 and he has gone 1-2 in the UFC 125 pound division.
