The fight booking and where the bout would be place on the fight card was announced by the UFC on Saturday.

UFC Fight Night 50 will come from the Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut on September 5th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Gegard Mousasi meets Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza.

Moraga (14-3) has dropped two of his last three fights and the defeats have come against current UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson. Two of his three wins in the UFC have come by stoppage, including a submission of the night victory against Chris Cariaso.

Scoggins (9-1) made his UFC debut at the end of last year and won his debut by TKO in the first round against Richie Vaculik at UFC Fight Night 33. Following a victory over Will Campuzano in March, he would be defeated for the first time in his career as he lost a split decision to Dustin Ortiz last month.
