A bantamweight bout is the latest fight booking to the UFC Fight Night 50 card on September 5th as Dustin Kimura will meet Ian Entwistle in a battle of submission specialists.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Saturday.
UFC Fight Night 50 will come from the Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut on September 5th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Gegard Mousasi meets Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza.
Kimura (11-2) has won eight of his fights by submission and both of his wins in the UFC have come by submission. Since winning his UFC debut, he has dropped two of three and he will enter this fight following a decision defeat to George Roop at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale in April.
Entwistle (8-2) made his UFC debut in June at the UFC Fight Night 43 card against Daniel Hooker and he was defeated in the first round by TKO. The defeat snapped a four fight winning streak, which all of those wins came by submission in the first round.
