Former UFC featherweight title challenger Chan Sung Jung will return to the octagon in October as he will meet Akira Corassani in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 53 in Sweden.
UFC officials announced the fight booking earlier today.
UFC Fight Night 53 will come from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden on October 4th and will be headlined by Gunnar Nelson meeting Rick Story in a welterweight bout.
Jung (13-4) has been out out action since suffering a shoulder injury in his title fight against current UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo last year. Prior to that fight, he has won three in a row and won a fight night bonus in all three of those fights.
Corassani (12-4, 1NC) also had his three fight winning streak snapped in his last fight as he was defeated by Dustin Poirier at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale in April. Two of his three wins in the UFC have come by decision and he was born in Lund, Sweden.
