Alexander Shlemenko vs. Brandon Halsey headlines Bellator 126 on September 26 in Arizona

Bellator 126 will come from the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix, Arizona on September 26 and will be headlined by Alexander Shlemenko defending the middleweight title against Brandon Halsey.Bellator 126

The event and fight booking was announced by Bellator on Wednesday.

In addition to the title fight, the main card on Spike TV will also see Patricky Pitbull vs. Marcin Held in the season ten lightweight tournament final, Bubba Jenkins vs. Alejandro Villalobos in a featherweight bout, and Mike Richman makes his bantamweight debut against Ed West.

Shlemenko (50-8) has been the Bellator middleweight champion since the beginning of last year and will enter this fight following a defeat to Tito Ortiz in a light heavyweight bout. Prior to his fight against Ortiz, he had won thirteen fights in a row and eight of those wins came by knockout or submission.

Halsey (7-0) won the season ten middleweight tournament last month when he submitted Brett Cooper in the tournament final at Bellator 122. It was his third career win by submission and five of his career wins have come in Bellator.
