A welterweight bout will headline Bellator 129 on October 17 at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa as Paul Bradley will face Josh Neer.
The fight booking was initially reported by MMA Junkie and while Bellator has not made the fight booking official, sources confirmed the fight booking to TheMMAReport.com on Monday evening.
In addition, the co-main event will be a heavyweight bout as James Thompson meets Houston Alexander. Tickets for Bellator 129 are currently on sale and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com.
Bradley (21-6, 1NC) was signed by Bellator last year and has gone 1-1 in the promotion. Following his win over Karl Amoussou in late 2013, he was placed into the season ten tournament and was eliminated in the opening round by Nathan Coy.
Neer (36-13-1) has won three in a row since being released by the UFC in early 2013 and this is his second stint in Bellator. His most recent win came in August as he submitted Travis Coyle in the first round at Victory Fighting Championships 43.
