The latest fight announcement for UFC 183 on January 31st in Las Vegas is a featherweight bout as Ultimate Fighter 14 winner Diego Brandao will meet Jimy Hettes in a bout likely to be place on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Tuesday evening.
UFC 183 will come from Las Vegas on January 31st and will be headlined by former middleweight champion Anderson Silva facing former Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz.
Brandao (18-10) has dropped back to back fights after winning three in a row. His most recent defeat came in the main event of UFC Fight Night 46 as he was stopped in the first round by Conor McGregor.
Hettes (11-2) made his UFC debut in 2011 and won his first two fights in the promotion. Since then, he has dropped two of three and he will enter this fight following a TKO defeat to Dennis Bermudez earlier this year.
