The seventh season of the Bellator Fighting Championships will continue on Friday night from Casino Rama in Canada for Bellator 79. 
The main card will begin at 8 p.m. ET on MTV2 and in commercial free high definition on EPIX2 with four fights, which will include two tournament semifinal bouts.
In the main event, Thiago Santos (11-1) meets Rich Hale (20-4-1) in a heavyweight tournament semifinal and the co-main event will see Mike Richman (13-1) take on Shahbulat Shamhalaev (10-1-1) in a featherweight tournament semifinal.
Also, the main card will feature two welterweight division fights as season five welterweight tournament winner Douglas Lima (21-5) takes on Kobe Ortiz (13-3) and Ryan Ford (17-4) meets Kyle Baker (12-6).
