Late last week, Josh Koscheck went on Twitter to give a wish list of potential opponents for his next fight and on of those opponents was former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz.
It appears that Diaz’s trainer Cesar Gracie is down for the fight to take place on Super Bowl weekend, which the UFC plans to have a show in Las Vegas. Upon hearing this news, Koscheck went to Twitter to say he would be down for the fight.
I’d like to fight b4 Feb…. But……

The Super Bowl card for the UFC will take place on February 2nd and is expected to take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Diaz is currently now scheduled to come off suspension until February 4th.
It’s unlikely for Diaz to come off suspension before February 4th, even though the lawyers of Diaz are hoping to get him off suspension. UFC President Dana White recently said that Diaz would not get a title shot in his next fight and a fight with Koscheck makes sense for the former Strikeforce champion.
