UFC Fight Night 58 took place on Saturday night in Brazil and was headlined by Lyoto Machida defeating C.B. Dollaway by knockout in 62 seconds.
According to Nielson sources, the main card broadcast on Fox Sports 1 had an average audience of 966,000 viewers while the televised prelims had an average audience of 626,000 viewers.
The peak of the broadcast came it at 1,237,000 million viewers and the event ranks as fourth most-watched ever on FOX Sports 1.
With the viewership from Saturday night, it marks the third straight Fight Night card on Fox Sports 1 to draw over 900,000 viewers and the average viewership for Fight Night/TUF Finale in 2014 on Fox Sports 1 finishes at 840,000 viewers.
Following the event, Fox Sports Live more than doubled its average viewership from last December’s comparable Fight Night (325,000 vs. 152,000) and in the Adults 18-49 demographic, Saturday’s Fox Sports Live was also up 143% (224,000 vs. 92,000).
