Two fights have been added to the UFC Fight Night 62 card in Brazil on March 21 as Godofredo Pepey meets Andre Fili in a featherweight bout and Shayna Baszler faces Amanda Nunes in a bantamweight bout.
UFC officials announced the fight bookings on Thursday.
UFC Fight Night 62 will come from the Ginasio do Maracanazinho and will be headlined by a bantamweight bout as Urijah Faber meets Raphael Assuncao in a rematch of their bout in the WEC.
Pepey (11-3) has won back to back fights and has won a performance of the night bonus in both of those fights. His most recent win came in September as he defeated Dashon Johnson by submission. Fili (14-2) is coming off a win against Felipe Arantes and has won two of his three fights in the UFC. Ten of his wins have come by stoppage and seven of them have come by TKO/KO.
Baszler (15-9) made her official UFC debut in August and was defeated by Bethe Correia. She is 1-3 in her last four fights and her last win came in 2012. Nunes (9-4) will also enter this fight following a defeat as she lost to Cat Zingano in September. The defeat snapped a two fight winning streak and she is 3-3 in her last six fights.
