Mark Hunt vs. Stipe Miocic official for UFC Fight Night 65, along with seven other fights

The UFC will be heading to Adelaide, Australia on Sunday, May 10 and the fight card will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Mark Hunt will meet Stipe Miocic.

The fight card and main event were made official by the UFC on Tuesday afternoon.

Along with announcing the main event, the UFC announced seven other fights with the bouts being Robert Whittaker vs. Brad Tavares, Anthony Perosh vs. Sean O’Connell, Jake Matthews vs. James Vick, Bec Rawlings vs. Seohee Ham, Alex Chambers vs. Kailin Curran, and Brendan O’Reilly vs. Vik Grujic.

UFC Fight Night 65: Hunt vs. Miocic will come from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and ticket information will be released by the UFC in the coming weeks.

Hunt (10-9-1) is coming off a TKO defeat to Fabricio Werdum in the main event of UFC 180, which was for the interim heavyweight title. He has gone 5-1-1 in his last seven and four of those wins have come by TKO/KO. Miocic (12-2) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Junior dos Santos in December. The defeat snapped a three fight winning streak and he has won a fight night bonus in his last two fights.
