The UFC has announced two more fight booking for June’s UFC 188 in Mexico City as Tecia Torres will meet Angela Hill in a women’s strawweight bout and Augusto Montano faces Cathal Pendred in a welterweight bout.
Both fight bookings were announced by the UFC on Monday afternoon.
UFC 188 will come from the Mexico City Arena on June 13 and will be headlined by a heavyweight title unification bout as Cain Velasquez meets Fabricio Werdum.
Torres (5-0) won her official UFC debut in December as she defeated Angela Magana by unanimous decision at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. It was her first fight in just over a year and all of her wins have come by unanimous decision. Hill (2-0) also won her UFC debut in December as she defeated Emily Kagan by unanimous decision. Her previous bout came eight months earlier as she defeated Stephanie Skinner by TKO.
Montano (15-1) signed with the UFC last year and won his debut at UFC 180 against Chris Heatherly. It was his sixth straight win and all of those wins have come in the first round. Pendred (16-2-1) is currently on an eleven fight unbeaten streak and three of those wins have come in the UFC. His last victory came in January as he defeated Sean Spencer by unanimous decision.
