The UFC 185 Preliminary Card on FX took place this past Saturday and featured Ross Pearson winning a performance of the night as he defeated Sam Stout by knockout.
According to Nielsen sources, the UFC 185 preliminary overnight viewership number for the prelims landed at 1,003,000 million viewers and this number is up 28 percent from the last time the UFC PPV prelims aired on FX (UFC 174).
Along with the overall average viewership being up from the last time the PPV prelims were on FX, they were also up 36 percent in the Adult 18-49 demographic (532,000 vs. 390,000).
The peak of the UFC 185 preliminary card broadcast came in the 9:30 p.m. ET – 9:45 p.m. ET quarter hour with 1,147,000 viewers and this is the fourth straight pay-per-view preliminary card to draw over 1 million viewers.
The show also did well in the Nielson Twitter TV Ratings on Saturday night as it was the number three sports program on Saturday as the top two spots when to NCAA Men’s Conference Tournament basketball games.
