Ultimate Fighter Latin America winner Alejandro Perez will return to the octagon in June as he will meet Patrick Williams on the preliminary card on a bantamweight bout.
The fight booking was announced on late Thursday evening by the UFC.
UFC 188 will come from the Mexico City Arena on June 13 and will be headlined by a heavyweight title unification bout as Cain Velasquez meets Fabricio Werdum.
Perez (15-5) defeated Jose Alberto Quinonez by unanimous decision at UFC 188 to win the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter Latin America. He has won back to back fights and five of his last six fights. Williams (7-4) lost his UFC debut last year when he was defeated by Chris Beal at UFC 172. Prior to his promotional debut, he had won four of five all of those victories came by stoppage.
