A reported women’s strawweight bout is now official for UFC 186 in Montreal on April 25th as Aisling Daly will meet Randa Markos.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Tuesday morning.
UFC 186 will come from the Bell Centre and will be headlined by a title fight as Demetrious Johnson defending the flyweight title against Kyoji Horiguchi.
Daly (15-5) was scheduled to meet Claudia Gadelha at UFC Fight Night 64, but the fight was scratched when Gadelha pulled out of the fight with an injury. Daly will enter this fight with two straight victories and eight of her career wins have come by submission. Markos (4-2) lost her official UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale when she lost a split decision to Jessica Penne. She is 1-2 in her last three fights and three of her four wins have come by submission.
