Abel Trujillo was forced to pull out of his UFC 186 bout against John Makdessi with an injury and replacing Trujillo in the bout will be Shane Campbell.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on early Saturday morning.
UFC 186 will come from the Bell Centre and will be headlined by a title fight as Demetrious Johnson defending the flyweight title against Kyoji Horiguchi.
Campbell (11-2) has won three in a row and is coming off a win at WSOF 18 in February agaist Derek Boyle. During his current winning streak, all of his wins have come by TKO and seven of his eleven wins have come by stoppage. Makdessi (12-3) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to Alan Patrick at UFC 169. Prior to that defeat, he had won three fights in a row including a first round knockout against Renee Forte.
