A featherweight bout has been announced for UFC Fight Night 67 in Brazil as American Top Team product Mirsad Bektic will meet undefeated Brazilian Renato Carneiro on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday.
UFC Fight Night 67 will come from the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil on May 30 and the fight card will be headlined by a welterweight bout as Carlos Condit returns from injury to meet Thiago Alves.
Bektic (9-0) has gone 2-0 in the UFC and both of those victories have come by decision. His most recent win came in January as he defeated Paul Redmond by unanimous decision. Carneiro (9-0) won his UFC debut in December as he defeated Tom Niinimaki by submission in the second round. It was his second straight win to come by submission and all of his submissions have come by rear-naked choke.
