The Bellator 136 Weigh-Ins took place today in Newport Beach, California and the fight card is now official with thirteen fights.
Today’s weigh-ins will came from the Radisson Newport Beach and tomorrow’s fight card will come from the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California.
The event will be headlined by a title fight as Will Brooks (155 lbs) defends the lightweight title against season seven tournament winner Dave Jansen (154.6 lbs).
“I have beat one of the best lightweights in mixed martial arts recently and beat him twice,” Brooks told Jimmy Smith after making weight. “He said the same thing over and over again. It said it in the first fight and he said it in the second fight. I stand here as the lightweight Bellator champion right now. I am just ready to go and all of the talking is done. He will find out tomorrow.”
