Ultimate Fighter alum Josh Samman has his next fight booked as he is targeted to meet Caio Magalhaes in a middleweight bout at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale in July 12 in South Florida.
The fight booking was reported by Bloody Elbow on Wednesday afternoon and while the UFC has not officially announced the fight, both fighters confirmed the fight booking on social media.
The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale will take place on July 12 at a South Florida venue and is expected to be headlined by former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson meeting Michael Johnson.
Samman (11-2) was a member of Team Jones during The Ultimate Fighter 17 and defeated Kevin Casey by TKO at the live finale in 2013. His next fight would not take place till 19 months later due to injuries and he defeated Ultimate Fighter 19 winner Eddie Gordon by knockout at UFC 181. Magalgaes (9-1) dropped his UFC debut in 2012 against Buddy Roberts and since that defeat, he has won four in a row. His most recent win came in November as he defeated Trevor Smith by knockout in 31 seconds at UFC Fight Night 58.
