Melvin Guillard is now a free agent as he has been released from his contract with the World Series of Fighting.
The release was announced by Guillard’s manager Malki Kawa of First Round Management on Twitter today.
Guillard (32-14-2, 2NC) was scheduled to have his third fight with the World Series of Fighting earlier this month against Ozzy Dugulubgov. However, the promotion pulled him from the fight after they stated Guillard had failed to submit medical paperwork to the commission.
In the tweet by Kawa on Guillard being released from his World Series of Fighting contract, he wrote that Guillard should have a new fighting home soon. This is now the second time that Guillard has been a free agent in the last twelve months and time will tell if he may end up in a promotion like Bellator, Titan FC, or ONE Championship.
