Bellator 137 will be headlined by a title fight as Brandon Halsey will defend the Bellator middleweight title against Kendall Grove and the third person in the cage will be John McCarthy.
California State Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster confirmed to The MMA Report on Thursday that he has assigned McCarthy to be the referee for the title fight.
Bellator 137 will come from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California next week and the main card will begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Spike TV.
