Andrew Craig drops to welterweight, meets Edgar Garcia at UFC Fight Night 71

After a six fight run in the middleweight division, Andrew Craig is dropping down to the welterweight division and he will meet Edgar Garcia at UFC Fight Night 71.

The fight booking was recently announced by the UFC.

UFC Fight Night 71 will come from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California on July 15 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former UFC champion Frank Mir meets Todd Duffee.

Craig (9-3) enters this fight with defeats in his last two fights and is 3-3 in the UFC. His last fight came at UFC Fight Night 44 and he lost a decision against Cezar Ferreira. Garcia (14-4) returned to the UFC late last year and lost to Hector Urbina at UFC 180. Prior to that defeat, he had won four in a row and three of those wins came by stoppage.
