A bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 69 card in Berlin as Taylor Lapilus will meet Ulka Sasaki on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday morning.
UFC Fight Night 69 will come from the O2 World Berlin on June 20 and will be headlined by Joanna Jedrzejczyk defending the UFC women’s strawweight title against Jessica Penne.
Lapilus (9-1) is currently on a four fight winning streak and defeated Rocky Lee by unanimous decision in his UFC debut. Six of his nine wins have come by submission and four of those came by armbar and guillotine choke. Sasaki (18-2-2) made his UFC debut last year and won his debut against Roland Delorme. The win over Delorme was his eighth straight win and his winning streak was snapped in December when he was submitted by Leandro Issa.
