Bellator 137 took place on Friday night at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California and the card was headlined by Brandon Halsey remaining undefeated with a TKO win against Kendall Grove.
According to Nielsen sources, Bellator 137’s preliminary live viewership landed at 594,000 total viewers and the show peaked at 768,000 viewers at 9:16 p.m. ET.
When it comes to the +3 DVR numbers, the viewership went up 7 percent with a total of 636,000 viewers.
On Friday night, the top sports programs were a NBA Playoff doubleheader on ESPN. The second game of the doubleheader (Golden State vs. Memphis) went up against the Bellator card and that game drew an average audience of 4.9 million. The early game (Atlanta vs. Washington) came in with 3 million viewers and the NASCAR race on Fox Sports 1 (8:40p-10:38p ET) drew 909,000 viewers.
With the viewership numbers from Friday, the average viewership for a Bellator show under Coker is now at 698,000 viewers and below is the preliminary ratings average for all of the Bellator events that aired on Spike TV since Coker took over as President of Bellator.
