A lightweight bout that was recently reported by Combate is now official for UFC Fight Night 72 as Joseph Duffy will meet Ivan Jorge.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC Fight Night 72 will come from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on July 18 and the main event for the fight card has not been announced at this time.
Duffy (13-1) is currently on a three fight winning streak and won his UFC debut in March when he defeated Jake Lindsey by TKO at UFC 185. Twelve of his thirteen wins have come by stoppage, including a submission win in 2010 against Conor McGregor. Jorge (26-4) has won two of his three fights in the UFC and all of his fights in the promotion have done the distance. His most recent fight came in February as he defeated Josh Shockley at UFC Fight Night 61.
