Bellator 138 will take place next Friday night at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock.
Since the fight was announced, Missouri Office of Athletics Director Tim Lueckenhoff stated that both fighters would be subject to pre-fight testing to be granted a license for this fight.
On Wednesday afternoon, Bellator President Scott Coker told the media on a conference call that the promotion was informed last week by Lueckenhoff that both fighters passed their pre-fight drug test.
“At the direction of Mr. Lueckenhoff, our main event fighters were subject to pre-fight drug testing,” Coker stated on Wednesday. “We were informed last week that both fighters passed their test.”
Slice told MMA Junkie that he has been drug tested multiple times during this training camp and both fighters are subject to be drug tested on fight night by the Missouri Office of Athletics.
