Jessica Aguilar is officially a UFC fighter as she has signed with the promotion and will make her debut at UFC 190 against Claudia Gadelha.
The UFC made the signing and fight booking official on Friday.
UFC 190 will come from the HSBC Arena on August 1st and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Bethe Correia.
Aguilar (19-4) is considered one of the top women’s 115 pound fighters and was most recently the WSOF women’s strawweight champion. She has won ten fights in a row and her last win came against Kalindra Faria at WSOF 15. Gadelha (12-1) made her UFC debut last year and won her debut against Tina Lahdemaki. In her last fight, she was defeated by current UFC champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
