Fabricio Werdum is now the unified UFC heavyweight champion as he submitted Cain Velasquez with a guillotine choke in the main event of UFC 188 on Saturday night. 
Velasquez was able to take the opening round with his striking and two takedowns. However, something happened that not many people believe would happen, which was Velasquez wearing down as the fight went on.
Werdum would end up locking in a guillotine choke near the fence in the third round, which Velasquez tapped and Werdum is now the unified UFC heavyweight champion.
