The co-main event of UFC 194 on December 12 in Las Vegas will be a title fight as Chris Weidman defends the middleweight title against former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold.
The fight booking was announced tonight on SportsCenter on ESPN News.
UFC 194 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be headlined by a featherweight title unification bout as champion Jose Aldo meets interim champion Conor McGregor.
Weidman (13-0) is coming off this third title defense as he defeated Vitor Belfort by TKO at UFC 187. Four of his last five wins have come by stoppage and he has won a fight night bonus in his last two fights. Rockhold (14-2) has won four fights in a row after losing his UFC debut agains Belfort. His most recent win came in April as he submitted Lyoto Machida.
