The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale will be taking place in Las Vegas on December 11 and the UFC has confirmed two fight bookings for the event as Joe Lauzon will meet Evan Dunham and Mike Pierce faces Ryan LaFlare.
UFC officials announced the fight bookings on Wednesday evening.
Lauzon (25-10) is coming off a win against Takanori Gomi at UFC on FOX 16 last month and is 3-1 in his last four fights. He defeated Gomi by TKO in the first round and his last two victories have come by TKO. Dunham (16-6) has won back to back fights after dropping three in a row in 2013 and 2014. Both of his recent wins have come by decision and the most recent one came against Ross Pearson.
Pierce (17-6) will be stepping into the cage for the first time since October of 2013, which was submission defeat against Rousimar Palhares. Prior to that fight, he had won four in a row and two of those wins came by TKO/KO. LaFlare (11-1) made his UFC debut in 2013 and started 4-0 in the UFC. He suffered his first career defeat in March when he lost a decision to Demian Maia.
The venue for The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale is expected to be announced shortly by the UFC.
