Derrick Lewis has a new opponent for UFC 192 in October as Anthony Hamilton is off the fight card and stepping up to face Lewis will be Viktor Pesta.
The fight change was announced today by the UFC.
UFC 192 will come from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on October 3 and will be headlined by a title fight as Daniel Cormier defends the light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson.
Pesta (10-1) lost his UFC debut last year against Ruslan Magomedov and is coming off a decision win against Konstantin Erokhin in January. Seven of his ten wins have come by stoppage and four of those have come by TKO/KO. Lewis (12-4, 1NC) will enter this fight following a defeat in June against Shawn Jordan. He is 3-2 in the UFC and all of those victories came by TKO/KO.
