Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson set for The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale

A key lightweight bout has been added to The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale as Khabib Nurmagomedov will return from injury and meet Ultimate Fighter 13 winner Tony Ferguson.

The fight booking was reported today by the Los Angeles Daily News.

The Ultimate Fighter Finale 22 will take place in Las Vegas on December 11 and the main event has not been announced at this time.

Nurmagomedov (22-0) has been recovering from a knee injury and this will be his first fight since April of last year, which was a decision win against Rafael dos Anjos. He is 6-0 in the UFC and four of those wins have come by decision. Ferguson (19-3) is currently on a six fight winning streak and is coming off a decision win against Josh Thomson. He is 9-1 in the UFC and six of those wins have come by stoppage.
