UFC Fight Night 74 will take place tonight in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and the fight card will begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT with two preliminary bout on UFC Fight Pass before the televised preliminary card begins at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1.
The main card on FOX Sports 1 will begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT and will he headlined by a featherweight bout as Max Holloway meets Charles Oliveira.
Take a look at my Draft Kings preview and recommended lineup for today’s event.
Olivier Aubin-Mercier ($10,800) and Maryna Moroz ($10,500)
The thinking between picking Aubin-Mercier and Moroz is fairly similar. The thought is that both fighters have significant physical advantages over their opponents and clear paths to victory. Aubin-Mercier should be able to use his power to outwrestle Tony Sims and threaten with submissions, and Moroz should be able to use her speed and youth to outstrike Letourneau.
Patrick Cote ($9,400) vs. Josh Burkman
Cote impressed me in his last win over Joe Riggs after I had written him off. While the Canadian is certainly past his prime, the same can be said for his 34-year-old opponent. In what is likely to play out as a back-and-forth fight that ends up in the hands of the judges, I like Cote to win the decision in his home country with an effective striking approach.
Shane Campbell ($8,400) vs. Elias Silverio
It’d be an understatement to say that Shane Campbell had a bad UFC debut. He was absolutely dominated by John Makdessi. With that being said, Campbell did take the fight without a proper training camp, and he has impressed me enough outside of the UFC for me to feel confident in thinking that he’ll look like a completely different and more confident fighter. As long as he keeps the fight standing, Campbell should be able to reintroduce himself in the UFC.
Marcos Rogerio de Lima ($9,900) vs. Nikita Krylov
Reeling off back-to-back finishes after an embarrassing submission loss to OSP, Krylov has shown a much higher ceiling than I once projected. With that being said, I still think de Lima will give him plenty of trouble. At this point, Marcos Rogerio de Lima is just much further along from a skill level standpoint, and I expect him to put those skills to use and earn a finish.
